Year End Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns
We prepare and file your statutory accounts with Companies House and your corporation tax return with HMRC, on time, and we make sure you are claiming everything you are entitled to.
The annual accounts are a legal requirement, but they are also the one point in the year where someone should be looking properly at what happened and what it means.
What is included
Statutory accounts prepared to the correct UK reporting standard for your company size
Filing with Companies House
Corporation tax computation and CT600 return filed with HMRC
A review of available reliefs and allowances, including capital allowances on equipment
Confirmation of what you owe and when, well ahead of the payment date
A conversation about the results, not just a PDF to sign
Who this is for
Any UK limited company that needs its accounts and tax return done properly. We are set up particularly for founders in food, drink, consumer goods and ecommerce, where stock valuation, work in progress and channel specific costs make the year end less straightforward than it looks.
The deadlines that matter
Corporation tax payment: nine months and one day after your accounting period ends
Corporation tax return: twelve months after your accounting period ends
Companies House accounts: usually nine months after your year end
The payment deadline falls before the filing deadline, which catches a lot of founders out. We work to get your numbers finalised early enough that you know the bill before you have to pay it.
Why founders use us for this
Eight years in audit at Deloitte before founding Kubed means the technical side is not in question. Running a product business afterwards means the advice that comes with it is practical. You get both.
No jargon, no surprise bills, and no chasing you in December for records that should have been sorted in March.
Pricing
Year end accounts for a dormant company start from £250 + VAT. Year end accounts for an active company start from £450 + VAT. The final fee depends on scope and is confirmed before any work begins.
Common questions
When should I get my accounts done?
As early as possible after your year end. Leaving it to the deadline removes every planning option you had.
My records are a mess. Is that a problem?
It is common and it is fixable. We will tell you what the tidy up involves before we start.
Will you tell me my tax bill in advance?
Yes. Knowing the number early is the whole point.
Do you handle the confirmation statement too?
Yes, we can look after your Companies House filings alongside the accounts.
